This is the military version of the better known Electro-Voice 605, originally green in colour.

Although it is known that the most suitable microphones to be used to amplify the harmonica with a tube amplifier are high impedance ones, excellent results can also be achieved with medium impedance microphones. In particular the results can be even better when the amplifier tends to trigger feedback very easily. This microphone therefore allows you to raise the volume enough to obtain excellent saturation without feedback problems. Like many other electro-voice models, this microphone also has a very full-bodied quality sound.
