Shure 520SL Green Bullet Controlled Reluctance

Shure 520SL, better known as Green Bullet.

The 520SL model differs from the 520 model because it was equipped with the "push-to-talk" desktop stand which in this case has been removed.

This is a 1955 example with a white label "controlled reluctance" capsule, with a very powerful and full-bodied tone.

Considered by many to be the Holy Grail of harmonica microphones. Most custom harmonica microphones are in fact equipped with Shure CM (controlled magnetic) or CR (controlled reluctance) elements.
