We believe that the Deluxe version of the traditional Chromonica 270/48 has set another milestone in the manufacturing of top quality wooden-bodied chromatic harmonicas. The Chromonica 270/48 Deluxe incorporates a variety of improvements on the original classic 270 design, which optimize handling and ensure greater volume and faster response, while retaining the rich and powerful Hohner classic sound. It is the ideal harmonica for established chromatic harmonica styles and also well suited to more contemporary playing techniques.
Features:
- Assembled with 5 reed plate screws to maximize airtightness and facilitate maintenance.
- Chrome plated mouthpiece featuring round holes for greater playing comfort. (will also fit the standard Chromonica 270/48 and Toots' harmonicas).
- Extra thick brass reedplates (1.2 mm) for a full, powerful sound.
- Smooth and silent slide mechanism.
- Natural finished pearwood body with rounded edges for improved ergonomics. The slide assembly can be installed for sinistrals' use.
- The tested cover design is stable and robust and is attractively engraved.

Ottima cromatica per iniziare. Suono prevalentemente armoniche diatoniche, ma dopo aver acquistato una Seydel Chromatic Deluxe ho voluto provare questa Hohner. Devo ancora testarla bene, ma credo di essere soddisfatto. Migliore reattività rispettto alla Seydel, anch'essa una buona armonica per iniziare, più fluidità dello slide e tipico suono Hohner che generalmente preferisco.

Mi piace molto. Soprattutto perché la Super Chromonica è l’unica cromatica in casa Honher ancora con il corpo in legno. L’ho acquistata principalmente per questo oltre che per il suo design classico e il fatto di avere i fori tondi a differenza della versione non Deluxe. Ovviamente l’ottava alta richiede un po’ di fiato in più e i primi fori aspirati una respirazione corretta, ma è solo questione di tecnica e pratica. Nulla da imputare all’armonica in sé. Almeno per il mio modesto parere!
