We believe that the Deluxe version of the traditional Chromonica 270/48 has set another milestone in the manufacturing of top quality wooden-bodied chromatic harmonicas. The Chromonica 270/48 Deluxe incorporates a variety of improvements on the original classic 270 design, which optimize handling and ensure greater volume and faster response, while retaining the rich and powerful Hohner classic sound. It is the ideal harmonica for established chromatic harmonica styles and also well suited to more contemporary playing techniques.
Features:
- Assembled with 5 reed plate screws to maximize airtightness and facilitate maintenance.
- Chrome plated mouthpiece featuring round holes for greater playing comfort. (will also fit the standard Chromonica 270/48 and Toots' harmonicas).
- Extra thick brass reedplates (1.2 mm) for a full, powerful sound.
- Smooth and silent slide mechanism.
- Natural finished pearwood body with rounded edges for improved ergonomics. The slide assembly can be installed for sinistrals' use.
- The tested cover design is stable and robust and is attractively engraved.

Una sig.ra armonica, consigliata a tutti gli appassionati di questo strumento. Bel suono, col suo carattere. Sicuramente un ottimo acquisto.

Provata solo un paio di volte e per poco tempo perchè in questo periodo soffro di allergie ed ho paura di rovinarla. Le prime impressioni sono ottime; rispetto alla Discovery 48 che ho da tempo ha più volume ed ha una risposta più veloce. Anche lo slide ha una risposta più veloce. Sono rimasto favorevolmente colpito anche dall'imboccatura, anch'essa sembra più scorrevole rispetto a quella in plastica della Discovery 48. Per altre valutazioni devo provarla più a fondo ma mi sento comunque di consigliarla.
