For more than 100 years, the Marine Band has been the favorite harmonica of artists like Little Walter, Paul Butterfield, Mickey Raphael, and Kim Wilson. Ever since 1896, discerning professional harmonica players in search of an unmistakable and unique sound have played the Hohner Marine Band as their instrument of choice.
The new Marine Band Deluxe combines the features of the legendary harmonica with a variety of state-of-the-art improvements that can be described best as a modified version of the Marine Band Classic. In comparison, the Marine Band Deluxe optimizes all the great characteristics of the original classic Marine Band in a customer oriented harmonica. Our goal was to offer a contemporary ten hole diatonic with the long, successful history that players associate with the Marine Band legacy.
The key features and benefits of the Marine Band Deluxe include the following:
- The classic Marine Band sound
- Improved cover design for greater volume and enhanced stability
- Assembled with 3 reed plate screws and 4 cover screws to maximize air tightness and facilitate maintenance (which makes it service friendly)
- Sealed pear wood comb
- Rounded channel openings and outer corners for greater playing comfort.

La migliore armonica tra quelle acquistate finora. Ho una special 20 e una blues harp della hohner. La marine band non è per me facilissima da suonare ma ha certamente un sound più bello e corposo. Il contatto delle labbra sui fori è morbido, non faticoso. Ne consiglio l'acquisto.
